Brand Identity Design
You'll complete an in-depth branding questionnaire and Pinterest "Inspo" board. Don't worry or get too hung up on this part. It will take a little bit of time, but it's not scary. You'll pin anything that you envision your brand looking, and feeling like. I'll be there to answer any questions and/or help you get started.
Step 1:
Once you've finished your homework and I've had the opportunity to review, we'll have our brand strategy call. We will discuss your ideal client, as well as how your choices on the inspiration board correlate. You'll be able to ask me any questions you have, and I may need to dig into a few questions I have regarding your brand.
Step 2:
Once we've had our strategy session I'll design 2-3 mood boards with images, typography, textures etc. which may represent your brand. I'll send them to you to decide which one best resembles how you want your brand to be portrayed.
Step 3:
Once you've approved a mood board and the color palette, and ultimately the brand direction, I will start on designing the Primary logo. I typically lead with the "one concept approach" which means I will send you one logo to determine if it's the right fit. If it's not, I go back to the drawing board.
Step 4:
Once you approve the Primary logo, I will design secondary and submark logos (variations of your primary logo, just used in different places in your business) such as social media, business cards, website favicon depending on the space the logo needs to fit.
Step 5:
It's launch time! I'll provide you with the logo files, as well as a full brand guide (outlining your typography pairing, how and where to use different logos, the color palette, ect.)

Website Design
I'll setup a board in my project management system that we can both access and work together on. I'll provide you with "homework" including: a website mapping workbook, a client questionnaire, copy prompts and outline, and a list of everything I'll need from you.
Step 1:
Once I've received your homework, I'll also do a bit of my own homework. We'll collaborate the best layout for your website, and then I'll get to work designing.
Step 2:
I'll design the homepage to set the mood and tone of the overall website before sending it to you to approve or request revisions.
Step 3:
Once you've approved the homepage, I will design the remaining pages, and setup the blog section (if needed) before sending it back to you to review.
Step 4:
Once you've approved the final design of the website, I'll add the integrations, and we will test all links, forms, mobile responsiveness, and speed of the website, and make any changes as necessary.
Step 5:
It's launch time! I love to tag my clients on my social media to help them celebrate their launch. We can plan a strategic launch, or you can launch quietly, the choice is up to you. I will provide an offboarding tutorial, and 2 weeks post launch support.

The branding process typically takes 2-3 weeks, while the website design typically takes 3-6 weeks. This depends on the project scope and how quickly revisions are approved.

If you sign up for the branding package, I will determine types that compliment your brand. You will be responsible for attaining the user licenses. If you're on a budget we can use inexpensive or free types.

If I design your branding as well as your website, I can help source stock photos. If you sign up for just the website package, you will need to provide all photos.
